A lesson from the Brits

One of the admirable features of British centre left papers such as The Guardian and The Independent is that they are prepared to regularly publish writers who go against their editorial grain. Not something The Listener aspires to despite its pretense of being the voice of intelligent liberalism.

The Independent's Johann Hari is always worth checking out.
