Gallup Poll of Baghdad

The Iraqi Coalition Provisional Authority has the Gallup Poll results of Baghdad residents opinions on a range of issues.

It is not all good news for the US but 62% believe that any hardship suffered getting rid of Saddam was worth it. They must be neocon apologists.

Bush rates a low 29% approval while Bremer gets 47%, ahead of Chirac on 42%.

72% believe US troops should stay for longer than a few months. 64% see attacks on US troops as unjustifiable.

42% believe they will have a parliamentary democracy in 5 years.

64% support the idea of an international peacekeeping force.
