Haaretzon the withdrawal

Haaretz
The settlers' right to live where they have been living was not granted by Holy Scripture, nor by Jewish history, but rather by a series of governments that, by granting the permission, did terrible harm to Israeli interests. Most prime ministers of those governments have admitted as much, one after the other, all the way to the knight of construction in the territories, who has also come to his senses. The settlers should at least give him the respect of listening to what he says.

Some time ago he began to understand the Palestinians have the right to a state of their own.

Despite his nausea at the thought, he knows that even if he procrastinates, it has become inexorable. Logically, that means massive removal of the settlements in Gaza and Judea and Samaria
It is the extreme right in Israel who oppose Sharon. It is the Left in NZ that opposes Sharon . No surprise there.
